ACAA Business Meeting to be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 3:00pm EST



The Place: 

The Washington Retreat House,  4000 Harewood Rd. NE (Across the street from The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and the Campus of The Catholic University of America). All single rooms with shared bathroom.

The Dates: 

Monday September 24 to Wednesday September 26 (with the option of adding another  night in DC—i.e. Wednesday night September 26)

The Cost: 

$250 (all included)--for Monday and Tuesday nights.  Staying Wednesday night would be an additional $100

The Schedule:

MONDAY, September 24

--arrive at any time Monday.  There is plenty of parking at the retreat house and it is accessible by Metro and Cab

--For early arrivers there are many options for interesting visits:

7pm-Talk by Chris Begg on an Old Testament theme (Chris is a graduate of Louvain and a Professor of Old Testament at CUA)


TUESDAY. September 25


10am-Depart for tour

Tour Options:        

       --Option 1:  Tour of the African-American Museum  (

       --Option 2:  The Museum of the Bible  (

       --Other Options:  any Smithsonian Museum on the Mall  (Smithsonian museums)

Lunch on your own

3pm-Business meeting for the alumni



7pm-Talk by Bob Colbert, Ministering in an Ecumenical Environment

8pm-Social Hour(s)

WEDNESDAY, September 26

7am-optional mass
